ESPRIT DE CRAIE ROSÉ EXTRA BRUT
sugar dosage = 6 g / L (no dosage)
The soil of the terroir of the Côte des Blancs consists of a thin layer of topsoil covering the chalk underneath, which in places reaches depths of 10 meters. This chalk, called Belemnite, is composed of marine fossils.
The roots of our chardonnay vines have to penetrate very deeply into the soil to draw from the sources of water and minerals which are indispensable for their survival.
This relatively poor soil produces wines with a magnificent mineral structure.
This Rosé version of our Esprit de Craie reveals a nose in which red fruits and citrus fruits are beautifully harmonized.
Because of its mineral finale on the palate, it is ideal as a summer aperitif, together with an appetizer like smoked salmon on toast for example.
